Why Mike Picked It:
Maybe it's those golden locks, fat-free curves, and killer smile. Or maybe, I'm just a sucker for a chick who will get greasy around my truck.

Edgar Lopez's '03 Dodge Ram

Why Andy Picked It:
This truck is just plain awesome. I think these Rams look amazing before any modifications are done to them, but Edgar really raised the bar with this one. The detail I love the most is the mesh air vents to the side of each of the headlights. These were the perfect solution to the fenders being widened out. The jet-black paintjob, amazing rims, and flawless bodywork just make for a killer truck.

Why Mike Picked It:
Yeah, there's a pattern here. I dig LS engines and this story showed how to stuff a badass LS3 into a C10, but with GM's new six-speed automatic tranny. Street and Performance performed the swap and the owner is reportedly getting better than 20 miles per gallon in this 4,000-pound truck.

Why Calin Picked It:
I know there were a lot of really sweet trucks in the pages this year, but I have to pick my old man's truck. I watched that thing transform from a rusty POS to the slick ride you see here. Every time I opened the door to the shop, Dad was in there doing something cool on it. Also this was one of the first times my Dad asked me for my opinion on a design element. When it came to the wheels and tires, Pop asked me what would look better than the 15-inch Torq Thrust he had. I told him this truck needs at least a set of 20s and once the KMC Novas and Nitto tires I picked were on the truck, he grabbed me around the shoulder and said, "Good choice, kid." Yeah, that made me feel pretty damn good.
