Jason Moreno's boosted Silverado was one of the most detailed rides I photographed in '09 and when he emptied his nitrous bottle just so I could get a shot of the purge valves working at sunset, I was stoked.

I love when a project gets finished especially when its been shelved for over a year. Our R/T project was done except for the paint job, and thanks to Eightball Rods and Choppers and Steve Vandemon the truck is now finished. Steve showed us some cool tips on how to make the design even better. We also brought in Roy Varga, pin-up photographer extraordinaire, to shoot Shay Lyn in the booth with the truck. A hot truck with an even hotter model, now that's the stuff gearhead dreams are made of.

Muscle Truck Parts Guide

There are few things in this world I like more than high horsepower trucks and good movies. So when I sat down to compile a guide for muscle truck parts, I couldn't get out of my head the scene from Joe Dirt where Joseph Dirte' is sitting thumbing through an Auto Trader. In attempt to make the story even better, I called Bill from Holley and after a half hour of dueling Joe Dirt impersonations, he agreed to don his Joe Dirt costume pose for the awesome shots. One of the best parts was doing the research; I sat and watched the movie like three times just to get all the quotes right. Just remember: life's a garden, dig it.
