When you think of the outrageously big shows that have made their mark on the truck scene, you probably think of the Texas Heat Wave, Indy Truck Bash, or ShowFest, but there's definitely a new contender in the ring. Last September, the AutoFest invaded the California Speedway in Fontana for a two-day show-'n'-shine event, boasting just about every type of entertainment possible.

The 130-acre infield, surrounded by a 2-mile, D-shaped oval, was packed to the teeth with more than 4,200 vehicles, including everything from classics to current show trucks as well as choppers and big rigs. Three different stages were set up to host live music performances by Tribal Lust and the Horny Natives, Pump 5, and Giva.

A full amusement park and kid's zone provided entertainment for the family, while the big kids enjoyed 14 laps around the track in 140-mph NASCAR rockets. As the stock cars screamed around the track, crowds enjoyed the rows and rows of trucks, an airbag hop off, and a burnout competition.

According to the California Speedway, the AutoFest, which brought in more than 67,000 people over the weekend, was the largest private event ever held on the grounds. The bikini contest, always one of the biggest crowd pleasers, brought a ton of heads to the stage. The guys, and even the girls, were whoopin' and hollerin' for the beautiful ladies. Each one came out to center stage and gave the crowd a solo show. Then, with the help of the DJs from X103.9, the masses chose their winners.

A section of the infield was set up for RV parking along with camping spots for participants and vendors. Needless to say, it turned into a 130-acre party that lasted well into the night, complete with cruising and a wet T-shirt contest - although T-shirts seemed to be optional.

During the two days, the AutoFest raised more than $88,000, which it handed out to various charities, including the Make-A-Wish foundation and Ronald McDonald House Charities; quite impressive for a private company.

Girls of the OCOrange County, the land of clubs and motocross, brought out some of its finest women. These beauties were found not only in the bikini contest, but also in booths and walking around the show.
