Seattle has several claims to fame: the Space Needle, the Pike Place Market, a huge coffee addiction, and its annual Summer Slam show. Now in its 11th year, the car and truck show put on by Sittin' Pretti has become a staple in the Northwest's truck scene. The one-day event, which filled the parking lots of Cascade High School, boasts nearly 200 custom mini and fullsize trucks, as well as a whole day's worth of good times.
The early roll-in brought out everything from old-school Datsun bullet sides to Eric Dunaway's body-dropped Chevy, which was laid out on 26-inch Lexanis. To keep the clubs and crowds entertained, Sittin' Pretti hosted several club games, including balloon tosses and a scavenger hunt that sent mini-truckers running for Vanilla Ice CDs. The sad part, though, is someone actually had one.
Several trucks came out to participate in the hop-off, but Mother Goose Customs stole the show with its Ford Ranger. The truck not only rocketed more than 3 feet into the air, but managed to rip through the gas tank as well.
