J.D. heated up the tires of the Southwest '57 Chevy pro mod-he was making 7-second passes all weekend long. On his second pass on Saturday at the track, the passenger-side door blew off at about 160 mph. Look closely, and you can see some of the scars as it slid about 200 feet down the strip.
