FAST FACTS:
Showdown is an outdoor event held in the parking lot of the Sam Houston horseracing park.It's a local show to everyone in Houston, but since there are a lot of nice rides in Texas, this show is huge.The show attracts lots of people and is very hot, considering the time of the year it's held. Bringing lots of cold refreshments is a good idea.
SPECIAL EVENTS:
The bikini contest had girls who showed some major skin for those who crowded around to see the spectacle.Live DJs, BMX expos, a hot-dog-eating contest, a beer-chugging contest, and a USACi car audio sound-off.The burn-out contest had several vehicles laying smoke for days.
