TOTAL VEHICLE ENTRANTS:
Almost 200, counting vendor vehicles
SPECIAL AWARDS GIVEN:
All the basic class awards were given out, as well as several Best Of awards. The Best Of awards were Drop 'Em Wear? neon wall clocks. The Best Under Construction award was a cordless Dewalt Sawzall with a custom-painted case by Billy at Mr. Scrape Customs.
This was the first annual show put on by one of our freelance photographers, Brandon Burrell, and his wife, Christine. The turn-out was good enough to fill this location and called for it to be moved to a much larger location for the coming year. A set of 20-inch wheels were given away to an entrant with a truck, thanks to Prime Wheels. A 17-inch set of wheels were given out to an entrant with a car, courtesy of Performance Products in Knoxville, Tennessee. BFG raffled off a set of tires, where the winner got to choose the size and tread pattern they wanted. Show vehicles attended from North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia, Kentucky, Georgia, Florida, Maryland, Illinois, and Alabama.
Highlights of this show included a USACi triple-points event, a bikini contest, and a draggin' contest with first-ever backward dragging show.
