Special Awards Given:
More than 160 trophies were awarded, with 4-foot-high Best of Show trophies presented to the top truck and car at the event, as well as the specialty category award-winners. The LNO award from the Oliver family was presented to Joe Speaks from Lake Worth, Florida, for his beautiful four-wheel-drive Ford F-350 Lariat. Best of Show, Fullsize, went to Arthur Fuentes' '99 Ford F-150 loaded with a sweet stereo system and custom interior. Door prizes also fired up the crowd with a set of 20-inch rims from 5th Gear, toolsets from Pep Boys, cleaning supplies from Meguiar's, and goodie bags from Edelbrock.

Fast Facts:
Each year, the members of Hardcore CC celebrate the memory of Larry Neal Oliver, a good friend and club member who was murdered by thieves who stole his truck. The show is down from a two-day event to a Saturday-only show, and this year's get-together attracted one third more vehicles than last year. The club has a questionnaire on its website asking you to vote for either a one- or two-day show.

Special Events:
There's plenty of fun to be had, including a bikini contest, a wet T-shirt contest, a 4x4 pull off, a stereo competition, a compact car stuffing, a maple syrup chug, a Bobbin' Fo' Peanuts in a Chocolate Cream Pie contest, and a Chubby Bunny contest.
