2007 Havasu Havoc Powered By GM - Custom Truck Show
Going, going, gone! AIM Industries... Going, going, gone! AIM Industries also took a compressed air bottle and a 600-psi regulator and proceeded to explode airbags on Saturday. AIM's own 'bags wouldn't pop at 600 psi, and since the regulator wouldn't go any higher, we don't know what the limit is. We can tell you that a 'bag blowing up at 350 psi sounds like a bomb going off. An ex-cover truck and a cover-in-the-making... An ex-cover truck and a cover-in-the-making in the same spot on the showfield, the Born Bad Silverado looked as good as the day we shot it, and Chris' Chevy was cause for a scare for anyone in his class. Jay Martinez even won the Best of Show trophy. General Motors Vortec Marine... General Motors Vortec Marine Engine division and MerCruiser not only sponsored the event but brought several custom trucks, as well as fresh-off-the-lot '07 models, much to the delight of new truck buyers in attendance. Showgoers got a great look at the new Silverado. This is marketing at its best.... This is marketing at its best. Even if you weren't into airbags, you had to go check out the Mac's Spring booth just to catch a glimpse of this Nissan Titan. If you were looking to accessorize... If you were looking to accessorize your air suspension, you could have stopped by Air-Zenith's booth, where the company showed off its new anodized compressors. We liked the black wheels... We liked the black wheels on Wes' Dodge Ram dualie so much that we shot it for a feature that same night. The girls from our local Hooters... The girls from our local Hooters restaurant in Anaheim damn-near swept the MBRP bikini competition. Hannah Caidin took the $1,000 First prize, while Candace Foote and Julie Oliver placed Second and Third.
