The Major Players At Gatordrag
Since GatorDrag is in the South, there were numerous big shops from the Louisiana and Texas areas that came to show off their latest work. All of them had some amazing rides that pushed the limits of customizing. Because this was one of the first shows in the season, it was our first glance at what these shops have been up to during the winter.

As always, the show benefits Relay for Life/American Cancer Society to help find the cure for breast cancer. This year's show was the fourth annual, and it was bigger than ever. Last year, GatorDrag outgrew the venue in Jennings, Louisiana, which encouraged the move to the Coushatta Casino Resort. The local police got worked up a bit, and the promoter is already working on a fix for next year's show. So, keep checking the show's website for all of the details.

Special Events:
On Saturday afternoon, a few skimpy-dressed women made their way to the indoor area of the show for a bikini contest. The way the stage was set up gave everyone a good view of the ladies. If you hadn't already gone to the casino, you were treated to a spectacle of trucks laying sparks. A strip of driveway was blocked off especially for this legal dragging competition. On Sunday, the air was filled with smoke, as the burnout competition took place. With plenty of room dedicated to it, competitors had the space to seriously light it up.

Sponsors:
Ekstensive Metalworks, Keef's Rod & Kustoms, and Gator Skinz Screenprinting
