6th Annual Big Show 2008 - Custom Truck Shows

Kyle Gould's old-school '86 Isuzu P'up boasts school-bus-yellow paint, wide whites, '40 Ford LED taillights, and loads of custom sheetmetal in the bed.

One of the taller and faster minis at the show was the V-8-powered "Thumper."

Louie Doughtie outfitted his Tacoma with 26-inch wheels, added a silver and blue custom paintjob, then loaded it with stereo inside and in the bed.

Everything on Joe McCumber's '85 Toyota has been shaved to create an ultrasmooth appearance. The truck runs 19-inch Foose wheels, custom stereo in the interior, and elegant House of Kolor Platinum Silver paint.

Ken Williams owns this primered '98 Chevy C3500, complete with cantilevered airbag suspension. It gets all the way down and is strong enough to pull a fifth-wheel trailer.

It's still under construction, but Eddy Vires' fullsize Chevy will be ready soon. The huge 12-gallon reserve tank gives him plenty of play time.

Drop Jaw's nighttime entertainment was definitely adult-rated.

Drivers cruised the park all day, and when the sun went down they enjoyed scrapin' for the crowd.

T&D Customs rolled its hopper twice for the crowd.

A big part of the weekend entertainment was the fun runs down Rockingham's famous dragstrip.

Jamie Kelly put on a second, daytime demonstration with "Schizophrenia." The combination of Z-racks and pyrotechnics made for quite a show.
