Think this late-model GMC looks good? Well just imagine putting it together in only four days. That's the time it took for Dinuba Collision & Paint to get this truck done before the show.
June 28-29, 2008
Fresno Big Fairgrounds, Fresno, California
Total vehicle entrants:
Custom acrylic trophies were made for all winners. The Best of Show trophy and $1,000 went to Vince Lombardi of the Choppin' Block Kustom Fab for his '06 Chevy Silverado. The Best Club Participation trophy and $1,000 went to Freaks of Nature. Top 5 Under Construction picks drew cards and the highest cardholder-Dave Prater with his '82 Blazer/Toyota-won a Lincoln Electric welder.
Before the awards ceremony on Sunday was a bikini contest in which some of Fresno's finest strutted their stuff on stage. The $1,000 in cash prizes brought out a line of gorgeous contestants. We're not exaggerating either because there were definitely some eye-catching ladies at this event. Manning the stage with DJ and MC skills were the crew of MadHouse FX. Also, the show was filled with various vendors selling everything from parts for your ride to apparel. If that didn't float your boat, you could have joined us in getting fresh tattoo work in the lifestyle hall. That's right, you could hit up a show and get ink. It doesn't get any better than that.

With Mike DeMello's C10 being cleanly done, it's hard to tell how low it actually is. Though Mike Gonzales's orange C10 is nice, it towers over DeMello's

We think Daniel Blaze brought out his Toyota Tacoma just to remind Editor Mike Finnegan of his mini-trucker days.

Jason Warmuth's '64 Datsun looked good planted in the grass, but with a rare vehicle like this he is going to have fun looking for a replacement taillight.

The Source Interlink Media trailer was set up with event shirts and Havoc DVDs for sale. We also had some free stickers, mags, and posters before some greedy bastards took too many and left us empty-handed.
