I think we started the year off right with the dual shoot of the lovely Holly Weber. This hard-body brunette looked great on Gale Banks' twin-turbo shop truck and even better next to Mike's toolbox. The bikini shot on the back of the poster has got to be the hottest image I have been a part of.

Chevy S-10 Build
Why Calin Picked It:
For me, it's my S-10 build. It started in January with the tune-up and has been going strong ever since. We've covered just about everything the normal guy would go through with this type of project along with a few extra things meant to inspire him to learn a new skill. I like the fact the truck is coming out very nicely without being too pricey.

Gale Banks' Shop Truck: '90 Chevy 454 SS
Why Calin Picked It:
This is the truck I would build if I had a bigger brain and fatter wallet. I like the understated exterior look with simple black paint and red Rallye wheels combined with the 800-plus horsepower twin-turbo powerplant under the hood. It's just one of those trucks that whispers, "Look at me" and screams, "See ya later!"

Havoc Fresno
Why Calin Picked It:
Since I only went to two shows this year, the pickings were very slim. I would have to choose Havoc Fresno just because I drove my truck there and got a kickass tattoo from Rudy at Clovis Ink during the show. The bikini contest was pretty good as well for not including water and white T-shirts.

This truck is just beautiful. I'm a huge fan of these older trucks and this one definiteley stands out in my book. I dig that it came out of a junkyard and was completely rebuilt to perfection. And oh yeah, it's got a Hemi!

Why Andy Picked It:
I guess the art guy in me really appreciates something that is drawn or painted by hand. When I saw the wasp that Steve Vandemon did on the tailgate of Calin's truck I was just blown away. I like seeing something go from a simple sketch to a finished piece. The design is also really cool and goes perfectly with the theme of the truck. Now if I can just get Steve to paint something on my ride!

The annual SEMA show has pretty much everything you've ever wanted in a cool show: awesome vehicles, gorgeous models, all the new and innovative aftermarket goodies, A-list celebrities and automotive icons, and last but not least the Las Vegas party atmosphere.
