The guys from Hunter&8217s were on hand selling their fine wares, as well as displaying their Corvette motored and suspended late-model Chevy. The level of detail was dazzling on this too-cool pickup.

Chevrolet Circus Wagon Rear Passenger Side View Multi Colored
An interesting phenomenon we’ve noticed at the last few shows we&8217ve attended is a growing number of Circus Wagon clones. This freshly built example is painted many different colors and is used as an advertisement for a local wrecking yard.

1972 Chevrolet Cheyenne Passenger Side View
All the way from North Carolina, Jerry Rogers’ fully-loaded 1972 Cheyenne is one truck we would crawl miles over broken glass for a chance to gawk at. Lucky for us, viewing the black, big-block-equipped beauty wasn’t that difficult, and we stood back far enough so as not to drool on Jerry&8217s jewel.

How about a nice old truck towing a really nice old boat? This vintage Chris Craft sported one of the coolest sets of tail fins we have seen on land or sea.

For the last 10 years Charlie Cobble and the Southern Street Machine Association have been hosting the All Chevy/GMC Truck Nationals in the picturesque tourist community of Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. This last get-together proved to be the best one ever. With over 200 gorgeous trucks on display, the new show location at the Governor’s Palace Theatre at Governor’s Crossing was the perfect spot to view all the awesome machinery.

This show is well known for its diversity of great GM trucks, and pulls trucks from all parts of the southeast and beyond, with some trucks traveling to the show from as far away as Canada. The show is open to all forms and styles of GM trucks, making sure that there is something for all show attendees to be inspired and awed by. Trucks on hand at this year’s event included all styles of ground-scraping pickups, fully-restored stockers, and massive sky-riding 4x4s.

After three days of perfect weather and a couple nights of cruising the strip, show attendees gathered on Sunday afternoon for the awards ceremonies. One of the many great things about a Southern Street Machine Association production is that almost everyone walks away with a trophy to recognize their hard work and dedication to the sport. Plans for next year’s All Chevy/GMC Truck Nationals include a return to the Governor’s Palace Theatre. We hope to see y’all there.
