Looking down two jet engines is neat, but you don’t want to stand behind them when they’re lit. The Moroso Jet & Truck drags brought out several jet trucks and show vehicles.

Tropical Heat Chevrolet S10 Passenger Side View
The Tropical Heat S-10 is one of the quickest jet trucks around. This truck hit a small bump on the track at 248 mph and nearly went airborne.

Les Shockley’s Shockwave pickup managed to “light-up” the track with fire breathing launches. Who would have thought a ’57 Chevy could run 175 mph in the quarter?

Chevrolet S10 Miami Zoo Crew Front Drivers Side View
One of the most entertaining groups at the event was the Miami Zoo Crew. Their bikes, as well as their S-10, are covered in various animal skins and they go up and down the track performing incredible stunts and burnouts.

The Heartbeat High S-10 driven by Pete Hoeneck did several wheel-standing runs down the track.
