You'll literally have to step down into the Viper's cockpit. It's a tight squeeze, and once inside, you'll notice there's plenty of legroom but not a lot of space for big feet... | ...Driving in flip-flops isn't really an option, because the race-inspired pedals are so close together that you'll find yourself hitting the gas at the same time as the brake. On the other hand, the Ram has plenty of room, an elevated seating position, and adjustable pedals for any height driver.
The Viper is short on space, but the Alpine audio system also rocks. But, aside from the passenger seat, the only other place to put another passenger would be stuffed into the trunk... | ...We don't recommend trying to transport anything larger than golf clubs back there, so just use your best judgment.
The Ram's interior is pretty slick. It doesn't look much like the Viper's cabin, save for the bucket seating, but it does feel a bit like it. The ominous, red start button is there, as are the bold face gauges... | ... Our test truck was also outfitted with a DVD entertainment system, GPS navigation, and an Infinity audio system, complete with center channel speaker. The system rocks the house, and the house is comfy!
