Welcome to the first installment of Sport Truck's Bustin' Knuckles, a section where we give you a little tease of a cool custom that is not quite done. The trucks featured on these pages should get your creative juices flowing and hopefully get you in the garage working on your own ride. If you have a truck that is well on its way but not there yet, snap a few pictures like the ones here and send them to Sport Truck.
Stock Floor Laid To The Door
Matt Gould of Olympia, Washington, a member of Outkast Kustoms, saw the light of customs, thanks to his older brother, who frequented lowrider shows. Once Matt was legal to drive, he purchased this '90 Silverado from his pops in bone-stock condition, knowing the full potential the truck had. Before Matt could turn a wrench, the truck was smacked in the back, thanks to some a-hole. Instead of just getting repair parts, Matt decided to go all-out the first time. Matt says the most unique feature of the truck at this point has to be the killer bridge and framework by Devious Customs. Even though the truck is in its early stages, it already possesses some wicked style, completely shaved and laying door on 22s - this is what show trucks are all about. We asked Matt when the truck should be done and he answered, "When I can find a way to pay for the truck and school, and still have some sort of life." Well, we'll wait patiently for Matt to finish, 'cause you all know we have no life. Matt would like to thank Evan, his family, Jason Rushforth for the killer rendering, and the whole crew at Devious Customs, who in one way or another helped him with the truck.
