Custom 1981 Chevrolet C10 - Risk-Taker

This truck was built many times, and here you can see the Chassis Engineering rear subframe kit with coilover shocks. Eric later replaced these with Air Ride Technologies Shockwaves, once they were available for purchase.	Eric did everything on this truck in his garage. He even sprayed the nice paintjob himself. Most of the time, bad bodywork can be hidden in photos, but we can vouch that this one has some good work.	The Air Ride Technologies Cool Ride control arms are a clean way to add air ride to a truck like this. With all the technological advances in parts, it's funny to think that when Eric got this chassis done, drop spindles just came out on the market.
Most people will settle for pre-made fiberglass tonneau covers that don't always look the greatest. Eric took it into his own hands to make an all-aluminum flush-mount lid. He even avoided the need for locks by using air actuators to lift or lock down the tonneau.
