With everything mocked up, the truck was blown apart and stripped clean. Then, Doug had the frame and suspension powdercoated, while all of the sheetmetal was E-coated to prevent future rust problems. To finish it all off, it was painted in Mitsubishi Inferno Red Crystal Effect, and all of the trim pieces were reinstalled.
With the truck reassembled, you can see that it looks close to stock but with a few custom touches that make it more appealing. Also, the extra steps that Doug took by topcoating every single component will ensure that it will not deteriorate. Not only will it remain in pristine condition, but it also won't go out of style with its original theme. We're sure that the truck will be enjoyed for many years to come by Doug and everyone else who has a love for these classic C10s.
