The engine that is lurking...
The engine that is lurking under the slick one-piece cover is a mild 350 fitted with a lumpy cam from Edelbrock. While not a ground-thumper, the engine is powerful enough to roast the tires without overshadowing the body mods.

Custom-made front inner fenders / shaved firewall, front turn signals, marker lights, side trim, door handles, mirrors, emblems, wipers, drip rails, tailgate, gas filler neck, antenna, stake pockets, and bumpers / 2-1/2-inch chop top with 2-inch forward lean at the pillars / 1-inch section removed from crown of roof / hood sectioned 1 1/2 inches / three-piece grille shell welded together and re-chromed / Trenz phantom billet grille / custom-made front rollpan / hood and wiper cowl welded together / forward tilt hood / bed shortened to five feet / smooth steel floor / hinged notch cover / Grant Kustoms tailgate and rollpan skin combo leaned forward 2 inches / rear wheel openings leaned forward to match fronts / taillights cut to fullsize and custom lenses made / rounded door and hood corners / custom one-piece door glass conversion / custom steel dash

The bedfloor has been smoothed...

The bedfloor has been smoothed out and made to open to gain access to the aluminum fuel cell and polished stainless air tank. With it tilted up, you can clearly see the 4-link suspension setup and 12-bolt rearend.

The original grille on these...

The original grille on these trucks was made from three pieces, but for a smoother look all three were welded together before being re-chromed. The factory plastic insert was also swapped out for a Trenz Phantom grille.
