At 3:30 a.m. on Friday morning, Tahua laid down the first coat of House of Kolor Sunset Orange Pearl with his spray gun. At 2:30 p.m. that same day, the guys began reassembling the truck so that it could be wet-sanded and polished. Customer-owned vehicles were put on the backburner finally so that the gang could focus on the task at hand. They had a higher purpose and it was getting Pancho Tequilas ready to drop jaws in less than 14 hours. They had a date with destiny and it was rollin' into the Fresno Fairgrounds to show the locals what five talented guys and a ton of motivation could accomplish.

When the brilliant orange Chevy rolled in the gates of the show, we noticed that it was freshly finished. The guys looked weary and were still wiping polishing compound out of all the crevices. We thought they had simply sprayed a new paintjob on the truck at the last minute. Imagine our surprise when Tahua's brother Martin explained the events of the past four days to us. Since the shoot, the wheels have changed and Tahua has put the finishing touches on the truck. Still, in its current form this is a clean ride that came from nothing in a very short amount of time. Television hook-up shows have nothing on these guys.
