Budnik used his Chevy Extended Cab truck to debut his latest designs in aluminum billet wheels and other innovations. The new Budnik Arrowhead wheel is based on a five-spoke center, featuring exposed lug nuts instead of the commonly used lug nut cover. It combines highly polished and machine-finished aluminum surfaces for a unique appearance.

Full-leather appointments adorn the cab&8217s interior, covering the seats, dash cover, and door panels. A full-tilt Rockford Fosgate sound system installed by Streamline Audio of Tempe, Arizona, keeps the tempo, and the color-matched and polished Budnik Stringer steering wheel and matching horn button add the finishing touches to the supple and sporty custom interior.

The custom-built flush-mounted aluminum bedcover is an eye-appealing functional wonder. It&8217s covered in canvas and was built in four sections to allow the two center segments to fold downward. These center panels are affixed with a piano hinge and allow Alan to haul his Ducati without removing the bedcover. The tailgate latch assembly is activated by a remote pull cable.

Machined billet aluminum and massaged sheetmetal are combined to create a stylish and subtle front fascia and grille. Note the peak and the gentle taper and curve of the horizontal cross bar. Narrow slits expose the otherwise masked stock turn-signal lamps.

Notice the radiused bottom corners of the tailgate edge and the molded spoiler on the top edge. Those are fit-and-finish subtleties that take time and patience to apply, but make all the difference in the world.

No, this isn’t your average over-the-counter aftermarket cowl cover. This steel panel is used to cover the windshield wipers, which were modified to sit lower in the cowl area.

This low-wide angle shows more of the attention to detail that might otherwise go unnoticed. Behind the behemoth 13.5-inch tires rests a custom steel belly pan featuring cutouts for the stainless steel exhaust tips and a svelte-looking center tunnel opening for added detail. It&8217s held in place by quarter-turn aircraft fasteners. Also notable is the smooth, rolling contour of the molded steel rear roll pan with the recessed license plate panel.

This is a detail you won’t soon find on many sport trucks. A stickler for fine detail, Budnik made a specially contoured third-brake-light opening and covered it with a machined and polished acrylic lens. The Budnik logo covering the lens is made from vinyl, adding a little extra snap.
