Although most of the vehicles emerging from Precision Street Rods & Machine are a bit older, owner Warren Boughn thought it would be great to have a custom work truck to use as a tow vehicle. As he started adding some custom accessories to his 99 Chevy Silverado, he couldnt help but add some of the customizing techniques normally used in his craft. The decision to fully customize the truck came after Warren had already gone too far to make this truck an actual work vehicle.
Pete Santini of Westminster, California, applied the beautiful flames made up of white pearl blending into candy lemon yellow and tangerine. The flames were then pinstriped in apple green before several layers of clear-coat were applied over the entire paint scheme. The addition of a Street Scene speed grille and Trenz billet Bow Tie to the front also enhanced the Silverados appearance. Warren also added a set of Street Scene electric sport mirrors and opted to paint the door handles and smooth the bumper under the grille for a custom effect. One of the most noticeable add-ons to the truck is the South Bay Motorsports Ram Air hood that incorporates some of Santinis flame work.
