To remove the air filter assembly, snap open the clip, and pull the assembly straight up and outta there. Use your trusty screwdriver to pry out the mass airflow.

You’re gonna have to remove the air temp sensor from the old assembly. We know we said that you only needed a screwdriver for this install, but if you don’t have a set of adjustable pliers, we’re sure you can find a creative way to get the sensor out.

Now that you’ve gotten the air temp sensor detached from your old, boring, power-robing, stock, plastic getup, go ahead and pop that baby into your high-performance stainless steel Air Force One intake tube. No special tools for this part of the install. Just push it in like a cork.

The mass airflow adapter comes...

The mass airflow adapter comes with the Air Force One kit and bolts to the OEM MAF sensor that you took out of the old air filter assembly five minutes ago. That’s Alice in the background supervising the installation and making sure we do things right.

Install the AF1 throttle body...

Install the AF1 throttle body boot and tighten the clamp around it. Add the bracket with the supplied hardware to the bottom of the intake tube. Take the filter and slide it on to the MAF adapter and tighten the clamp. Snug the blue high-temp hose on to the end of the mass airflow adapter, tighten all the clamps and the system is assembled. It’s as easy as stacking Legos.

Add the end of your new intake tube onto the throttle body boot and place the bracket onto the factory block stud located on the left side of the engine block. Adjust the tube assembly height and then tighten the bracket and all the clamps.

Make sure you take the OEM breather boot and install it onto the pipe. Look, you don’t even have to get greasy!

Reattach the electrical mass airflow harness and temp sensor harness. Wow, you’re all done and you can still catch the end of “Boot camp transvestite makeovers.” On second thought, why don’t you go for a testdrive and check out the 18 extra horsepower you just added.

The new Air Force One Air Intake kit looks totally sweet with the stainless steel pipe and beefy air filter. Increased horsepower and better gas mileage in less than an hour with virtually no effort or special tools. Awesome.
