Diesel truck drivers familiar with the performance advantages offered by Shell Rotella T will be able follow their favorite brand of diesel motor oil on the race track this season. Dennis Setzer, one of the leading drivers in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, will drive the bright-blue and white #85 Shell Rotella T Chevrolet Silverado, when it makes its racing debut at the third Truck Series race at Atlanta Motor Speedway on March 17.
As recently announced, Shell Rotella T will be the primary sponsor of the Morgan-Dollar Motorsports truck for seven races and an associate sponsor for the other 18 events. Shell Rotella T is the leading premium diesel motor oil in America, relied upon by owners of light- and heavy-duty diesel trucks.
"The opportunity for Shell Rotella T to sponsor Morgan-Dollar Motorsports, one of the premier teams in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, will highlight the performance of our diesel motor oil products," said Dennis Doggett, General Manager, Marketing Business to Business for Shell Lubricants. "We are fortunate to have a driver of the caliber of Dennis Setzer behind the wheel of the Shell Rotella T truck. The design and colors of the #85 Chevrolet Silverado will be instantly recognized by the many big rig and pickup truck drivers who count on our premium diesel motor oil to protect their engines."
Setzer finished Second in the season-ending driver point standings with four victories in 2005, marking the third consecutive runner-up finish for Morgan-Dollar Motorsports. Setzer has won 16 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series races during his career.
"Having a well-known brand name, such as Shell Rotella T on our Chevrolet Silverado is a big boost for the entire Morgan-Dollar Racing team, as we compete for the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series championship," commented Setzer. "The truck looks great, and we can't wait to begin winning races with Shell Rotella T."
The additional races where Shell Rotella T will be the primary sponsor include Lowe's Motor Speedway, May 19; Texas Motor Speedway, June 9; Kansas Speedway, July 1; New Hampshire International Speedway, September 15; Talladega Superspeedway, October 7; and Phoenix International Raceway, November 10.
This is the second year Shell Rotella T is participating in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. Last year, NCTS Rookie of the Year Todd Kluever carried the Shell Rotella T colors for Roush Racing.
Is This the Upcoming Bentley SUV?
Is this Cayenne test mule the first hint to an SUV from the traditional British folks at Bentley? We believe so!
For a long time, rumors have suggested that Bentley would be producing an SUV-type vehicle, and it's obvious that German-owner Volkswagen is certainly keen on broadening the range of Bentley. An SUV would, some declare, fit perfectly to the image of the British make.
Most would agree that it would make perfect sense to let Porsche do the basic engineering, s the Stuttgart company was heavily involved in developing VW's own Touareg SUV-and, of course, their own Cayenne. Besides these two, and Audi's new Q7, a Bentley SUV would be the fourth model to be built around the same platform and technique-and there might even be a Lamborghini derivative, though latest information from Sant' Agata says that the Lambo 4x4 is still some years away.
While underpinnings wouldn't differ much from those used for the three existing SUVs, power for the Bentley is likely to come from both the Arnage's 6.75L V-8 with 475 bhp, and the Continental GT's 6.0L W-12 Twin-Turbo developing 560 bhp.
