New from Alphasonic is the PSW610, a 10-inch Alpha 600-series subwoofer. This sub' has a proprietary cast-aluminum-alloy machine-cut basket and cooling rings for the motor assembly; a Kevlar-reinforced-composite, balanced, laminated cone; double-layer surround; flat progressive-rate Nomex damper with spiral woven leads; and a 75-ounce, double-stacked magnet with eight-gauge Sure-Lok input and output terminals. It can take 600 of RMS watts and is 87-dB-efficient. The frequency response is 33 to 500 Hz and has dual 4-ohm 2-inch voice coils.

Classic Tube's "Stop Flex" hoses are DOT-approved braided hoses that are legal for both street and off-road applications. Classic Tube's design consists of a PTFE inner core, a single braid of Kevlar, a barrier layer, and a single layer of 300-series stainless-steel wire braid. With this combination, there is virtually no volumetric expansion, so brake pedal response is immediate, not spongy as with standard hoses. While made to use standard-brake-fitting adapters, they can be made with JIC/UNF, metric, standard pipe, banjo, or three-way fittings as well.

Automotive Racing Products Inc. (ARP) has added a comprehensive selection of fine thread bolts to its collection of "bulk" fasteners sold in convenient five-packs. They are offered in stainless, a proprietary alloy developed by ARP, and heat-treated 8740 chrome-moly steel. They are nominally rated at 170,000 psi, which is even stronger than Grade-8 hardware. The bolts come in 1/4-28, 5/16-24, and 3/8-24 threads, with underhead lengths typically ranging from 1/2 to 5 inches.
