Prior to disengaging the stock spindle from the upper and lower control arms, jack up the truck and properly support it. Then remove the drag link and idler arm. We also removed the engine from the truck at the same time. This isn’t necessary for a complete suspension rebuild; it just worked out better for us, timewise, to have the engine removed. View Related Article
