Decked And Wrecked
Jarrett Belk's '99 Chevy Silverado
We Say: Jarrett is still in high school, but he has a job at a lumberyard that helped purchase and customize this Silverado. He admits that balancing time for school and work is tough, but he is willing do just about anything to own a cool truck. We are very impressed to hear about how much this young guy has customized his truck. Unfortunately, the Chevy was recently in an accident. While on his way to a show, a fellow member of his truck club got cut off on the freeway, locked up the brakes on his truck, and ended up running into Jarrett's truck. Now that the truck is back in the shop, it is getting the door handles, mirrors, and fuel door shaved at the same time. While the accident is an inconvenience, it will ultimately make the truck better.
What He Wins: Because Jarrett is having a tough time keeping the body on his truck straight, we are sending him a few cans of Play-Doh. Now he can mold, shape, crash, and smash the modeling clay instead mangling his truck and spending money to have it fixed. We hope he has fun with this stuff; we sure did while making this miniature of his truck.

Win Some Of Our Cool Swag!
Each month here in Sport Truck, the Homegrown Haulers winner will receive a pair of Mechanix Wear gloves, a Mother's detailing package, a Havoc DVD, and some awesome Sport Truck stickers. And to keep it real, we're also tossing in a piece of swag from our trusty old junk drawer! So just how do you win? It's easy. It all starts with you taking a killer photo(s) of your truck and sending that along with all of your information as well as a list of mods done to your truck. High-resolution digital photos are preferred and may improve your chances of winning. But really what it comes down to is if your truck is cool enough to pass our standards (OK, more like if we happen to get a bull's-eye on the dartboard!). So get going! Get out there with your digital cameras, put the settings on high-quality, and start shootin'. Email all of your stuff to firstname.lastname@example.org, or send a CD with images via snail mail to: Sport Truck Magazine, Homegrown Haulers, 2400 East Katella Ave., Ste. 1100, Anaheim, CA 92806.
