16. Lifting the cover up to expose the hinge flange, our installer uses the self-tapping mounting screws provided with the cover to fasten the cover's hinges to the cargo-bed bulkhead rail. While performing this operation after installing one or two fasteners, check for proper alignment of the cover. It should close without binding against the cargo bedrails and provide clearance to allow the tailgate to close. If the alignment is good, install all the fasteners. View Related Article
