It would seem that enthusiasts just can't leave anything alone. When it comes to style, themes can be added to just about Any portion of your truck. This includes the instrument cluster, of course. Dror Designs makes a large line of interior upgrades that update your interior with a machined-aluminum look. This is definitely one of the easiest upgrades you could do to your GM truck, with great results. Here's how the install went down.

1. With the tilt wheel all...

1. With the tilt wheel all the way down, the emergency brake on, and the shifter pulled down to First gear, remove the dash bezel; it just clips to the dash. Be careful not to damage the bezel, clips, or the rubber that separates the shifter from the steering column.

2. Using a 10mm socket, remove...

2. Using a 10mm socket, remove the four bolts used to hold the cluster in place.

3. Carefully remove the cluster,...

3. Carefully remove the cluster, making sure you don't pull on the wiring harness that plugs into the back of the unit.

4. With the unit pulled out...

4. With the unit pulled out of the dash, put the shifter back in Park and turn the key off. The cluster cover simply clips the instrument cluster. Carefully push the plastic clips in and pull the stock cluster cover off; push Dror's stylish cluster in its place. Make sure you didn't pull the wiring harness loose from the back of the cluster, turn on the key, and pull the shifter down to First gear.

5. Put your new cluster back...

5. Put your new cluster back in place. Put the screws back into the dash, holding the cluster in place.

6. Pull the protective plastic...

6. Pull the protective plastic off the cluster cover.

7. Snap the dash bezel back...

7. Snap the dash bezel back on and you're in business.
