07. A few measurements are taken to find out how much tubing will be needed for the vacuum line.

08. Smaller tubing is married to the end of the vacuum line, which will provide a factory seal once the rubber is attached.

09. After the initial color is spun, clear rod can be used to smear the color into a flame shape.

10. Some measurements are taken to see where the glass will need to be bent.

11. The glass is heated where the bend will occur and then bent using a graphite rod.

12. A quick comparison shows that the glass matches the OEM tubing perfectly.

13. Both the intake and the vacuum line are set into the kiln to bake at more than 1,000 degrees for about an hour.

14. Once it's pulled out of the kiln, The intake is slipped into the rubber fittings on both sides and tightened.

15. It's important to make sure the glass is not touching any metal that may be attached to the same hose. Leave about a 1/4-inch gap between the metal and the glass.

16. The heater hoses are bent and attached using rubber hose and hose clamps.

17. Next in line is the radiator hose. A quick twist of the screwdriver will release the hose clamps.

18. the new glass tube is fitted with a section of hose and a set of hose clamps.

19. To keep a continuous piece of glass running to the brake booster, the check valve will need to be relocated.

20. A few inches of hose will need to be left on either side of the check valve so that we have something to attach the new glass piece to.
