1.We converted our hydraulic tappet cam to a roller. This doesn't help noise but reduces wear and will add a couple horsepower. Of course, you would have to order a custom cam from Comp Cams, but you would save yourself about $400, if you lift it with a hydraulic flat tappet cam. If your big-block is already a roller motor (some are), you won't need the pushrods or roller lifters, which will save you some money. View Related Article
