1999 Chevrolet Tahoe Front End Conversion - Face-Off

Here's the bumper with the Street Scene SS bumper cover already installed.

It's held on by double-sided tape and a few clips. The only modification to the factory bumper is the removal of the factory valance. It's one less thing to buy and makes the install go smoothly.

The bumper bolts in with the factory bolts, which you can see here. Even the factory side supports bolt in, requiring no change.

See this little clip? It's the attachment point for the headlight. The corners clip in, too, and make life way easy.

Finally, we clipped in the grille. Push it in and you're good to go.

Here's a tip: You probably should replace the factory hood latch with an '03-and-later model. You don't have to, but if you don't, you'll have to tweak the factory latch, so you can reach it from under the grille.

Before we were done, we installed some smooth fillers for the rear pillars of the Tahoe, also from Street Scene Equipment.
