33. The Copilot is the brains behind the brawn. This little controller uses the pressure relief function of the Allison and uses it to provide as much as 230 psi of clamping force. This equates to as much as 170 percent increase in holding power. The unit works in conjunction with the stock ECU and provides the added pressure as needed. This eliminates the harsh shift so many people complain about when switching to a performance transmission.
