Teardown
Here we go. Obviously, before we can install the new tube, we have to get the stock stuff off, but here is what you should see under your hood-lots of plastic.

1. Per the instructions, we removed the three 10mm bolts holding the throttle-body cover on so we could access the hose clamp holding the tube to the throttle body, as well as the IAC and crankcase breather tubes.

2. There is a hose clamp on...

2. There is a hose clamp on the air filter side that also has to be loosened before the inlet tube can come off.

3. The MAF sensor is hiding...

3. The MAF sensor is hiding inside this housing that is attached to the air filter assembly, so unclasp the latch to separate the filter and MAF components. Grab a flat-head screwdriver to unlock the three clips holding in the MAF.

5. The air filter side of...

5. The air filter side of the housing is held in by these two tabs that pop into little grommets on the fenderwell. Give it a good upward tug to free it, then pull it away from the fender.

6. The IAC tube is constructed...

6. The IAC tube is constructed of a hard plastic tube that won't line up with the Fram unit, so the tube and check valve must come off to install the provided rubber hose.
