 Step 1: The Teardown 1. Start...  Step 1: The Teardown 1. Start the teardown by removing the felts and rubber squeegees. They snap into a little slot cut in the door, and a small clip removal tool with a twisting action will get them out. |  3. The track that the channel...  3. The track that the channel felt runs into inside the door must come out and be reused. It's held on by three Phillips head screws: one up high in the back jamb area of the door, and two are down low underneath the door panel. |  4. Once free, snake it out...  4. Once free, snake it out of the door and set it aside. Now would be a good time to clean the channel of any leftover glue or crud. |
 5. The vent window assembly...  5. The vent window assembly is next. There are two Phillips-head screws located at the lower front area of the door to be removed. |  6. With the hardware out, pull back on the vent window toward the outside of the door, and rotate the assembly as shown. |
 8. Then, you can pull the...  8. Then, you can pull the vent assembly out, without having the lower tab catch on anything inside the door. |  9. Roll up the window all...  9. Roll up the window all the way, until the rollers on the window regulator pop out of the door. |  10. Now you can slide the...  10. Now you can slide the window until the opening in the track lets the rollers come out. Clean the window and set it aside. |
 11. Now you can take out the...  11. Now you can take out the window regulator via its four Phillips screws. |  12. Once the screws are out,...  12. Once the screws are out, slide the assembly back to get the last roller out of the track hiding inside the door. The assembly will come out of the big hole in the door. |  13. Take out the door handle...  13. Take out the door handle and latch assembly together. It's easier to remove all the rods on the bench, instead of inside the door, unless you have little girly arms that fit. There are six Phillips-head screws holding the latch together. |
