3. Carefully fit the outlet tube onto the catalytic converter to make sure that everything fits before you start the install. | 
4. Make sure you measure the distance from the downtube to the muffler, so that all stock hanger locations can be reused. This way you can still have a killer custom exhaust and retain the proper fit. | 
5. Make sure you dry-fit the entire exhaust before cutting or installing. This will save you headaches and trips to the muffler shop when you come up short. |
6. For that ultra custom look and fit, master fabricator Jeremy welded the entire exhaust for a bulletproof fit and sound. | 
7. Ain't it neat? You don't have to weld your exhaust like we did. Proper fit clamps will do the job but will need the occasional tightening and replacing of the clamps as they wear out. | 
8. Now for the Triple Dog display module. Two hex bolts that hold the A-pillar must be removed. |
9. Drill a 3/4-inch hole so that you can mount the display module and bracket into the A-pillar. This gives a factory look with a custom feel. | 
10. This is where it gets tricky. You will need to pull the fuse box cover off as you will be plugging into that later. Run the Outlook cable through the dash and up to the A-pillar mount. Once everything is secured, you can then follow the instruction book on the proper electrical connections. | 
11. Mount the Outlook display monitor and reattach the A-pillar. |
12. Make sure there is power to the module and it operates properly. | 
13. Once everything is buttoned up, you can now start uploading the performance programs through your factory computer plug-in, located under the dash. | 
14. Using the Triple Dog menu, you can now punch in anything from tire size to eliminating the speed limiter. That's cool. |
15. Follow the enclosed manual, and it will guide you along with the Outlook menu on which application is best for your truck. | 
16. Once uploaded, you can switch from Economy mode, Towing mode, or our favorite, Performance mode. | |
The Final Word
Todd was so happy with his newfound power he asked us if we wanted to see him do a burnout. Of course, Sport Truck and burnout go together like beer and pretzels. So, we said, "Hell, yeah!" Who wouldn't want to see a big, red Ford diesel do a burnout? Todd proceeded to fry the 35-inch tires like he was sitting in a puddle of butter. Ah, the sweet smell of burning rubber. After the smoke cleared, Todd said, "I guess you can teach an old dog new tricks." We don't know if he was talking about himself or the truck. But, nonetheless, it was an impressive display of power.
