Because Rancho designed this kit to retain all the stock springs, the ride stays pretty close to stock. We say "pretty close" because the shocks are a bit stiffer, depending on the settings you use, and the tires feature a stiffer sidewall. This is not a bad thing, considering you don't want your lifted truck to handle like a waterbed.
