2005 Ford F150 Coil Spring Compressor

These next steps require a coil spring compressor, aka a strut master. Unload the tension on the upper mount of the factory coil assembly with the spring compressor. With the spring tension being held by the compressor, go ahead and remove the upper shock nut, using a 9/16 socket. Once the nut is off, you'll be able to slide the shock out from the bottom.
