2005 Ford F150 New Rear Spring
Install the new Skyjacker rear spring on top of factory block. Be sure to install it with the long end of the spring toward the rear. There is a degree shim attached to the bottom of the new leaf spring to correct the pinion angle. Be sure that the thick portion of the shim is toward the rear. Install the new rear U-bolts, and torque to 130 lb-ft. Attach the new brake line bracket to the factory mount on the framerail, using the factory hardware. Now you can install new rear shocks, plus the wheel and tire combo, so you can set the truck on the ground. With the truck on the ground and the weight of the vehicle on the springs, tighten the rear spring's spring eye bolts. View Related Article
