The Big-Block From Hell Don't think we are just a bolt-on magazine. Back in May, we built a big-block Chevy from scratch. There was so much info in the story, you really should give it a good read. The short of it is: The motor made 1,060 hp at 7,200 rpm and 827.5 lb-ft at 5,900 rpm on pump gas with one carb and no nitrous. The story was titled, "The Big-Block From Hell," and we think it's pretty appropriate.
