7. After buttoning up the radiator, I poured in 1 gallon of Prestone Antifreeze then filled the empty jug with water and topped off the system. By using the container for the water, I can keep track of the mix, looking for a 50/50 ratio. Luckily for me, when it was all said and done, I got both gallons into the cooling system.
