11. The owner of this TrailBlazer wants to be as stealthy as possible, so he had John Germanson spray-paint it black. Now, you won't notice it through the grille.

12. There is some wiring that needs to be done, but it is pretty straight forward. Some of the injector wires need to be extended, and the water pump for the intercooler system needs to be hooked to power and ground-that's it.

13. We are getting toward the end, and there are just a few small details to finish up. The kit comes with a new K&N air filter that will be a direct replacement of the factory paper element.

15a. Now it's time for the computer tune. If you are performing this job at home and you read the instructions like you are supposed to, then you would have already done this step. The kit comes with a cardboard box (inset) and a shipping label that you will put the truck's computer in and send it to Magna Charger. Once the folks at Magna Charger get it, they will install the new burn and ship it back. Since we are at the facility, we had John burn it off of his laptop

The Final Word
There is a lot of stuff we could say here, but we think these dyno numbers speak for themselves. We spoke to Brad Harris, the owner of the truck, after he drove it home and asked him how it ran. He said, "This sucker was pretty damn fast to start with, but now it really has some muscle. I tried to bait a guy into a street race, but as luck would have it, nobody would take the bait."
