Part Two: Lights, Camera, Action!
1. GoPro provides mounting attachments to position the camera at pretty much any angle you'd want. You can also semipermanently attach a quick-release mount to a truck or object using the provided double-sided tape.

3. Here are a few spots we got killer footage from. The Motorsports Hero cam has adjustable sound-level settings so you can cut down on wind noise and just record sounds you want, like pavement scraping or an exhaust note.

4. When you're all done, you can plug the camera directly into your television to watch the videos or photos you took using the provided RCA cables. Or, you can plug the USB cable into the camera and your computer to download the video information directly. You don't need any special software to make it happen either.
The Final Word
This thing is killer. Unlike a lot of other onboard camera systems that use a separate recorder and lens, the Motorsports Hero is entirely self-contained. And since it costs less than 180 bucks, it's a bargain. The only thing we wish GoPro would change is the method for activating the camera. We'd like to see a wireless remote included or available as an option so that we could trigger the camera remotely. Now go check out www.sporttruck.com for exclusive vids of our adventures with the camera.
