1.Areas to be sprayed the next color are air-blown and tacked to remove dirt. To get a perfect 1/4-inch pinstripe around the graphics without hand-striping, John sprayed a few coats of a bright yellow.

2.When the pinstripe color (yellow in this case) is dry, John comes back and lays fine-line over the areas where the pinstripe needs to be, basically around the outer edge. Again, patience and attention to detail at this point will pay off big.

2b.John sanded the runaway yellow with some 800-grit paper and resprayed the copper color. This is almost considered the point of no return, so a complete recheck was made before the design was buried in clear.
