1. The original radio harness was intact, so we soldered the 12-volt switched power lead from the Pioneer harness to the yellow wire in the truck's harness. We were also able to connect our black ground wire to the existing ground wire in the truck. For a 12-volt constant power supply, we extended the Pioneer's yellow wire to a hot terminal on the fuse box behind the dashboard. The only other connections we made were to the speakers, which currently consist of a set of cheesy 6.5-inch coaxials inside a cheap box behind the bench seat. View Related Article
