This is an invaluable fabrication tool for any time you want to mount a part using existing threaded mounting holes either in the part itself or holes that are already in your truck. The transfer screws are threaded on one end and feature a point on the other end. The trick here is that by threading the transfer screws into the holes that you want to copy, you can use the protruding points to mark the part you need to drill. You wont need tracing paper or a marker or any other inaccurate way of duplicating the holes once you purchase a set of transfer screws. Check it out.

The point will help us mark our new mounting bracket, giving us the exact locations for drilling our new mounting holes.	5.After coating the approximate...        read full caption 5.After coating the approximate drilling locations of our bracket in Dykem marking fluid, we set the fuel pump onto the bracket with the transfer points facing down and then tapped the top of the fuel pump with a hammer. The transfer points left perfect indentations in the bracket and we used the indentations to drill the new mounting holes-no need for a centerpunch.
