1. After adjusting a few tips, the driver’s side looked great and it was time to duplicate the licks on the passenger side. To duplicate the design a pounce pattern will be made out of a few large sheets of masking paper and a grease pencil or crayon. Steve taped the paper on the truck and rubbed the edge of his crayon over the design. The crayon will leave a darker line where it crosses over the tape, which will be easy to follow in the next step. Steve said make sure you make a few reference marks at places like the back of the cab and door jambs so you can get the pattern in the same place on the other side.
