A free-flowing exhaust system is probably the best performance improvement you can make to a V-8-powered F-150. Headers can provide increased horsepower and torque. The stock cast-iron manifolds (top) are restrictive. The shorty headers (bottom) look a little twisted, but they do a superior job of scavenging exhaust gases. View Related Article
