More Towing Basics
We ordered a quick-connect wiring harness for the winch, which required that we remove the winch’s side cover and replace the standard positive and negative wires with the ones for the quick-connect harness. The winch’s solenoid and the quick-connect harness were clearly marked Positive and Negative to prevent someone mistakenly switching the wires.
